ACOG Awards $61,000 to Oklahoma City, CART, Norman, Yukon for Air Quality Awareness
The Association of Central Oklahoma Governments is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2014 Air Quality Awareness Grants. The Air Quality Awareness Grants make use of federal Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) funds dedicated to transportation projects that reduce single-occupancy vehicle trips and support cleaner air for the Central Oklahoma region.

Monthly Free Fare Fridays Return to OKC’s METRO Transit
With an Earth Day kick-off on Monday, April 22nd, Oklahoma City’s METRO Transit will offer Free Fare Fridays once a month through September to help Oklahomans reduce their contribution to health-compromising ground-level ozone pollution.
ACOG Releases Transportation Projects Funding Report
A report reflecting federally funded projects in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area during federal fiscal year 2012 (Oct. 1, 2011 – Sept. 30, 2012) was recently completed by the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG). Highway and transit projects were funded and implemented in the region using federal funds made available to the state and metropolitan area from the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU).
